Me buying fur today.
Me: Hi, I'm looking for fur that looks like it comes from a poodle.
Old Russian Fur Store Owner: ...You vant hair from poodle?
Me: No no! I just need an off-white fur that is fuzzy and curly like a french poodle.
Owner: Come. Mongolian sheep. Like poodle. But is sheep.
Me: Oh my god, this is perfect.
Owner: You are making coat?
Me: Well, it's for a stole. I made little poodle heads out of clay and they are going to be attached.

Me: Kind of like the owner killed her poodles and made a fabulous stole out of them. Heh.
Owner: ...She kill dogs?
Me: No! Not real dogs, it's just cartoonish and fake. It's supposed to be funny.
